Ultrasound-Guided Evaluation and Intervention in the Thyroid and Neck Lectures
After viewing this lecture the learner should be able to understand when and how to perform fine needle aspiration biopsy of the thyroid, parathyroid and lymph nodes as well as understand the various thyroid ablation techniques (Alcohol, RFA, Laser, Microwave).

Objective:

Part one: Discuss evaluation of thyroid nodules, including use of TIRADS; discuss parathyroid nodule evaluation; biopsy of thyroid and parathyroid; US evaluation of neck masses and when to biopsy.

Part two: Discuss the various methods of thyroid ablation and techniques in performing these procedures.
