How to Perform a Standard OB Ultrasound Examination in the Second and Third-Trimester
This video provides an overview of the fetal biometry and basic anatomy that should be visualized during a 2nd-trimester basic anatomical survey. Images of fetal and maternal anatomy are demonstrated using obstetrical models in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Real-time challenges and imaging tips are also provided. After watching this video, viewers should be able to accurately acquire fetal measurements for correlation with gestational age; assess the fetal and maternal anatomy that should be evaluated in a basic obstetrical sonogram; and demonstrate the components a biophysical profile.
